Next Brand Test Build Soon

The early part of the week’s been a bit slammed, but I hope to have the next Brand Test Build (with several good bug fixes!) out sometime in the next couple of days, before the weekend. This is good, because I’m almost certainly going to be playing Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice this weekend, with apologies to Demon’s fans. :D Cheers!

Rushing Headless Into Danger

While we wait for me to finish the next Brand Test Build, which will include several bug fixes and quality of life improvements, here’s another piece of awesome art by Zyalin, this piece depicting how it might look if you teach Headless how to Polar Rush. :D

Brand Test Build 4 Posted

This one should fix all the funny hang bugs related to getting to 0 or less MaxHP due to Fusion, Soul Armor, or Brand related changes in Vitality/MaxHP, as well as a couple of other bugs.

Note: Forgot to post it in the change log, but in a related matter, leveling up Vitality no longer previews changes to your MaxHP in real time. (I may be able to fix this later, but wasn’t worth delaying critical fixes for. Previewing things is the worst UI. :P )

Working on Brand Test Build 4

Working on Test Build 4 now, which is mainly to fix various bugs related to Brands, Soul Armor, and Fusion reducing MaxHP to below 0. :)

This will probably be the pattern during the Brand Testing: critical bugs will be fixed on weeknights (most likely Mondays or Wednesdays), with most other work happening over weekends.

I’ll post again when Test Build 4 is ready, which should hopefully be later tonight. :D

Third Time’s The Charm, I Hope :P

Found another crasher that needed fixing, this one related to brands with an SP penalty modifier applying that modifier even to things that should never have had SP costs, like basic movement and passing. This eventually caused AIs to be completely unable to do anything, which is a big no-no. :)

Thanks to wizzzargh and SummerSnowman for the help with this one. :)

Brand Test Builds

The 1st Brand Test build is ready to go. :D

EDIT: Known issue with relic wraiths sometimes causing freezes in Brand Test 1. Fix coming shortly. :) Test builds gonna test build.
